SeederBoard Sponsors CEBA
November 4, 2013
SeederBoard.com, the online investor relations and business intelligence tool for startup businesses has today announced the sponsorship of Central England Business Angels (CEBA).
CEBA, which has a network of 150 angel investors from diverse industries, offers funding between £25,000 and £500,000 for companies seeking early stage funding and growth capital. The network works closely with entrepreneurs to connect them with investors.
“SeederBoard galvanises the relationship between investors and their portfolio companies. When CEBA invests in companies, it tries to ensure both parties benefit and become successful. Sponsorship from SeederBoard highlights our commitment to reducing risk and maximising returns for our network and their companies,” says Richard Johnston, Investment Director, Central England Business Angels.
SeederBoard’s mission is to help startups share their financial reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) whilst maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders. As a startup itself, the company recognises the importance of the role that active investors can play in increasing success at an early stage. Angel investors receive information about their portfolio in a simple, standardised format and can provide a degree of mentorship through the system.
“We aim to improve the early stage financing landscape. Reporting to investors should be seen as a two way benefit. Businesses who keep their investors in the loop, naturally know the real state of their business. In addition, by regularly adding small amounts of data, a company can demonstrate ability to perform consistently over time. This is particularly important for companies seeking additional funding at later stages. Our relationship we CEBA highlights our commitment to helping early stage companies navigate their way to success,” added Tim Boeckmann, Founder and CEO, SeederBoard.com
